The scales have tipped; the balance is gone. It’s 1767. Robert Wayne Collins is thrown into the ageless war during the celebration of his sixteenth year. He barely escapes after his family is murdered by the ruthless pirate and thief, Commodore Jacques Tibideaux. Robert’s only gift, or curse, are crystals his father hastily pushes into his hands, telling him they’ll unlock the secrets to time.
Robert begins his quest by sailing across the Atlantic with the homing sound of a faraway clock as his only guide. With help from a few unlikely friends, he is drawn into the heartland of America with Tibideaux on his heels. At the precipice of battle, the power of time hangs in the balance—and so do the lives of Robert’s friends. Robert knows it’s his legacy to protect the crystals, but nothing comes without a price. Can he save his friends and still become the man and Keeper his father wanted him to be? What, or who, will Robert have to sacrifice in the end?
