The Recanters' Tidal Pool

An alternate recent history reimagining of persecutions that took place during the Killing Time in Scotland from 1679 to 1688. It looks at what such martyrdoms as those of Margaret Wilson and Margaret McLachlan, as well as James Guthrie (1661), might look like if carried out in a modern, media-saturated setting. The story parallels the historical narratives while also threading the history itself throughout the book.
