Have you ever read the book of Acts and then looked around at most churches today and wondered what happened to the fire, anointing, miracles, signs and wonders that were so apparent in the early church? Have you ever wondered why, after you received Jesus and you were praying, it seemed as though in your prayer and praise time you would use all the words you could find to express your prayer, thanksgiving and love to God, but there always seemed like there was more you wanted to say and you felt there had to be more to this than what you were experiencing? Have you ever walked away from a time of prayer or a church service feeling like you had been to a restaurant that charged you way too much and delivered way too little? You went away almost dissatisfied, hungrier than you had been when you went in?
Have you ever felt your Christian life was lacking something and over time you had grown cold, indifferent and dry in your experience with God? If you have experienced any or all these things then you may have missed the second most important experience you will ever receive from God. I call it, “The Missing Link.”
