The American Turning Point: How Unity, Liberty, and Courage Can Save Our Nation

We pay attention to the things we measure. What this means for us right now is that we pay attention to our few differences and overlook our vast similarities. This is because we’ve been trained to measure our differences. We look for divides. Yet, when we focus on this, we completely miss the joint goals that we all share. We miss that we all want peace, prosperity, and health. We stand in the way of one another instead of paving the pathway forward.
The only way that we can move forward as a nation, is to slow down, think about our actions, and learn to measure our similarities. We must learn to speak civilly again. We must learn to respect individualism and differing opinions again. That’s liberty and we must learn to respect liberty again.
