Suzanne Alexander was a multi-talented actress, vocalist, and model who never achieved the stardom that she deserved. As someone who was born into an artistic family, there were high expectations for her; her father was a musician, her mother was a model, and her brother was an actor. She graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, winning such pageants as Miss Studio City, U.S.A and Miss San Fernando Valley. She acted a bit in regional theater before starring in movies like Cat-Women of the Moon (1953), Down Three Dark Streets (1954), and The Garment Jungle (1957). Meanwhile, she was seen on weekdays co-hosting the television series’ The Juke Box Jury with Peter Potter and Queen For a Day with Jack Bailey. After losing the starring role in Around the World in 80 Days (1956) to Shirley MacLaine, her career steadily declined; with a glamourous career, a manipulative mother, a loveless marriage, and a tragic demise, this story depicts the extraordinary life of Suzanne Alexander.
