Scartato

SCARTATO (“Discarded/Outcast”) is a collection of Free Verse divided in bisections. The first half is an illustration of the unique challenges that the male gender faces due to the strict boundaries that society consistently imposes upon it. The second portion of SCARTATO features a pensive exploration of an afterlife-state by a young virtuous-sufferer named Dominic (of David Colin’s novel RESIGNATION). No rhyme scheme or consistent metrical pattern are present in the work, yet: dark imagery, philosophy/psychology elements, and alternate literary devices prevail.
