Robert David Michaels is in Key West decompressing after being dumped by his fiance. He meets his favorite singer of all time in his hotel cocktail lounge, they talk, and she invites him to her concert that night. She is attacked on stage by a deranged druggie and is saved by Robert, who is injured in her rescue. He owns a chain of martial arts dojos but is hampered in his defense because the attacker is wearing an explosive vest. Before he has recovered from his wounds, the singer and her mother are kidnapped for twenty million dollars ransom. The singer’s father is a powerful financier and mounts a rescue. It falls to Robert to fight for the singer once again, even though he has seventy stitches in his leg, chest, and shoulder. Can he dig deep enough to save her one more time, this person he has loved in his dreams for years, this woman who, now that he has met her, knows his love for her is very real?
