Patrick and Me: A Story Of A Boy With Autism

Autism is a spectrum and those diagnosed with it may exhibit different traits. In our story “Patrick and Me: A Story Of A Boy With Autism,” Patrick experiences social interaction difficulties, touch sensitivity, texture sensitivity, compulsive behavior, impulsivity, and problems paying attention. Our story is a voice for the children that are the brothers, sisters, and siblings of those with autism; while being a window into the life of a person that may be on the spectrum. This story doesn’t touch the full spectrum of autism but gives a voice to an experience on the spectrum.
