"Old Days"

“Old Days” is a photographic journal composed of a blitzkrieg of vintage black-and-white photographs detailing the destitute Louis and Mary Blahnik family during the twentieth century. It is book #10 in the sublimely popular and hugely influential Blahnik Family Twentieth Century Series which Fred Blahnik has been diligently assembling over the past decade. As such, “Old Days” is the capstone to that eponymous series and provides photographic scaffolding to support the reams of fascinating nonfiction narrative which preceded it. Fred Blahnik also includes a select number of his iconic original poems in the climactic book as an added bonus—poetry as relevant to the surrounding pictures as it is preternaturally brilliant in nature.
