Sarah Bennet was a small town girl. She’d always been a bit of a loner, because she knew she was different. She learned early on, to fly under the radar, doing things by the book. Made good grades, earned a track scholarship, graduated with honors, went to college, became a cop, and she was a good daughter, at least until her adoptive parents died. Then she was on her own.
