SCENT OF PINE

Not a creature was stirring … except for one little girl, who was wide awake and staring at the tacky old Christmas tree that her family had been using for as long as she could remember. She hated that tree. It was fake, it was old, and it was falling apart. But she soon learned why her family kept using it year after year, and the answer shocked her. This debut coffee-table children’s book puts a fresh spin on the many tales of Christmas, interjects a family mystery that needs cracking, and enriches family time with insightful questions about the story that will challenge even the Christmas cynic.

This story was written by Anne-Geri’ Fann & illlustrated by G. Glen Gray (1994), then rescued from the Nashville flood years later (2010); additional images by Avary S.
