A memoir based on the author’s experience growing up gay and experiencing how being raised Catholic damaged him emotionally and spiritually. When he is old enough to understand the implications of his father’s excommunication from the church due to divorce, and marrying the author’s mother, she is also excommunicated and seeks her own relationship with a higher power, becoming a powerful accredited psychic. This starts the author down a spiritual path changing him forever as his life becomes entwined in the occult and followed by supernatural forces he seeks to understand. A cousin whose love for the author is unwavering helps him on his path. He then names four mentors who guide him on his search for universal truth and purpose, training him in ways of thought he never dreamed possible.
