Maureen Harris To Reeney Seagraves

In 1885 Maureen Harris, the daughter of a prominent family in Jeffersonville Indiana, gives birth to a black baby girl. She’s forced to give her up. In 1900 Maureen Harris, now Reeney Seagraves, is the wife of a high profile lawyer. Her biracial daughter returns unexpectedly not knowing that Miss Reeney is her mother. Now Reeney has to decide between her reputation or risk losing her daughter again. What will she do?
