Street photography of Kyiv Ukraine city scene in wartime.
“Every story has a beginning, a middle,
and an end.”
This is the end of one chapter—and
the beginning of something greater.
It’s also a moment to share the belief
that has quietly guided me for over
forty years: Good angels do exist.
Especially in times of profound
uncertainty.
In February 2022, as Russian forces
launched their full-scale invasion of
Ukraine, I was immersed in a personal
labor of love—my autobiography, “IM
Above Parr.” A tribute to four decades
of fine art photography and are s c
expression. It is in production on and I shall
include in the closing chapter some
of the memorable experiences I have
had here in discovering Ukrainian
culture and history. The end for now
of a journey well-traveled of
friendships
throughout my colorful life existence.
“Postcards from Kyiv,” was entirely
self-funded and self-produced. It took
far longer than anticipated. But I have
no regrets. It has been one of the
most rewarding creative experiences
of my life.
