In the Arc of the Bow: Loving my Life: Past, Present, Future

In 1996, when she left her English teaching position in Kazakhstan, Diane Bemel never expected to return to Central Asia. Then, 13 years later, she found herself on the Kandahar Airfield in Afghanistan, once again to teach English. These two experiences strengthened her long-held presumption that everything that happens in life has a lesson, a gift or an opportunity to help us discover and fulfill our life’s purpose. Our job is to pay attention and face that life with courage, humility and humor….and perhaps an archer’s bow and a quiver full of arrows.
