Bia and The Yellow Sand Crab

Bia and The Yellow Sand Crab is a collection of seven books that will narrate Bia’s adventures, discoveries and personal growth. They combine elements of fantasy, folklore, history and science. The books follow Bia, a curious and courageous girl who lives in the USA but spends Summer vacation in a coastal town in Brazil. Together with her pet dog Nina, and a yellow sand crab who can talk and has magical powers, they explore the mysteries of nature, culture and the human spirit, while facing challenges and dangers along the way. The books are inspired by the author’s own experiences and research, as well as by the rich and diverse traditions of Brazil and other countries. The books are intended to entertain, educate and inspire young readers to appreciate the beauty and complexity of the world around them, while learning how to care for our planet that we all call home.
