SENTINEL OF THE LIGHT, AWAKENING

When twenty-four year old medical student David Warren dies from pneumonia, he sees The Light. But he also sees The Dark. When an ethereal voice asks Dave to choose between the two, he is interrupted with a quick resuscitation by the ER staff. During his recovery Dave is haunted by dreams which foretell the future, the appearance of magical abilities that threaten his sanity along with the appearance of a dark wizard and a demon, both bent on stealing his soul.
SENTINEL OF THE LIGHT, AWAKENING, is a fast paced present day fantasy adventure that puts Dave on a collision course with the forces of Light and Dark. Both factions are on the hunt for Dave as a prophecy marks him a powerful Dreamer Wizard with unique abilities including nearly limitless energy, curing disease and controlling the Void, a barrier that protects Earth from the Netherworld. Oblivious to the magical world and the struggle going on around him, Dave simply wants to learn how to use his magic when Anna, a fellow student wizard, slips into a coma. Discovering the hidden magical world around him, Dave uncovers his real power of combining modern medicine with the magic of the past, a talent pivotal in finding and saving Anna’s soul. But in order to do this, he needs to figure out who are the real bad guys and how to keep the demon from killing him.
