Making The Shift

Dr. Elmore D. Lowery is a dynamic and passionate leader and public speaker raised from humble beginnings. He understands the importance of making the necessary shifts to increase and capitalize on opportunities and create a promising future. He was born and raised to a single mother and is the youngest of seven children; for the first 14 years, he was raised by his late grandparents. As a student who struggled academically and has a speech impediment, Dr. Lowery understands what it takes to dominate the odds and shift the table in his favor. At 15, Dr. Lowery became a father and was encouraged by school leaders immediately following high school to seek a manual labor job because he would only excel in high school. Everything pointed toward him becoming another statistic many young African American men regularly face. This book will inspire you to take control of your mind, power, and purpose.
