What do a 22-year-old babysitter, a vampire exterminator, and a teenage smartass have in common besides residency in the small town of Campbell, Pennsylvania where the mayor is the water treatment plant operator and the grandson of Postmaster Sandy lives in his Hummer? All three are connected to a mysterious fire that torched an abandoned home two-and-a-half years ago.
