Miranda gained access through the fire escape attached to the building, she crossed the rooftop and opened the back window of Mr. Harrison’s office. The nights were out. And the only light available was streaming in from an outside neon sign. Using a metal nail file, she pried his locked file cabinet open. It took twenty minutes. There were no pictures, only a box of negatives. It took an additional fifteen minutes to collect most of them and place the others back.
