Sore Losers -- A Four Corners Mystery

The irony of the expression “may you live in interesting times” is not lost on retired black ops agent Mac MacQuarrie, six months after the most recent inauguration.

That subdued event put an end to a highly controversial four years of White House turbulence, and life in these United States is finally returning to something resembling normal, at least in political terms. Yet some folks are still unwilling to accept the election’s results—for the most part, this involves whining and grousing and bitching. But there are also those who insist on taking action to attempt to rectify what they irrationally believe to be an unfair election.

When a dam is bombed in Southwestern Colorado, officialdom lurches into high alert, and when radioactivity is discovered at the site, that high alert borders on panic. The FBI agent in charge of the field investigation, at a loss where to begin, turns to Mac’s freewheeling tactics and non-conforming skill set to help her discover and apprehend the sore losers who are responsible for it all.

Little does either know at the beginning of the investigation just where the investigation into this nuclear insurrection will lead them.
