Qur'an Cornell Notes Journal

Author: Gabriela Martin PhD
ISBN: 978-1-63972-748-3

This Qur’an Journal is unique in that it incorporates the Cornell Notes system for studying and understanding the Qur’an. The Cornell Notes system is a system for taking, organizing and reviewing notes developed by Prof. Walter Pauk of Cornell University in the 1950s. It is very simple to use. Each sheet of paper is divided into the following three sections: two columns, one area at the bottom of the page, and one smaller area at the top of the page. All actual notes from the Surah/verse go into the main note-taking column. The smaller column on the left side is for questions about the notes that can be answered when reviewing the Surah/verse. After completing the Surah/verse, the reader can write a short summary of how they would apply the Surah to their life/daily living.
