Robert's Requiem

Second book in the Montana Stone Gulf Coast series based on fictional adventures of a female protagonist who is starting a new life on the Alabama Gulf Coast. She left a career as a crime analyst with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, where her skills helped her to find ways to prevent crimes, as well as assist investigators in finding the people committing the crimes.
In this book, a police officer in the fictional resort community of White Sands, Alabama, witnesses a barge on the Intracoastal Waterway stop and load or unload something in the middle of the night. Soon after, the officer, Robert Gulliford, disappears. As White Sands police tangle with a group of violent men, Montana — or Tana as she is known — follows up on Robert’s information.
