Camp Romance

Going to Camp Pine Valley seemed like the worst idea that Patti’s best friend, Tonya, had ever come up with. Besides not knowing if there was even indoor plumbing, Patti’s older brother, who had ventured to the pines a year before, had warned her that a lot of older kids would be there. Patti was determined to avoid signing up, even if it meant she’d be on the receiving end of Tonya’s infamous silent treatment.
After finding out that the boy she’d had a crush on for eons was going during the June camp session, Patti had a sudden change of heart. Thrilled to tell her friend that she just signed up with the non-refundable hundred dollars, Patti found out that she would be going alone. Tonya’s family was moving and she would not be able to go to camp!
It seemed like school just ended, her best friend moved away, and Patti found herself on a bright green school bus, headed to the mountains and who knew what else!
Patti would soon discover what her brother had been talking about… But, Patti was about to be a sixth-grader, so it was time for some maturity-making adventure.
