Among encounters with unusual types, people who are not what they seem to be, thefts, vanished persons, suspicious deaths and seductive “femmes fatales”, the private investigator begins the quest of a mysterious object that each of the characters wants to obtain at any cost.
Not the typical hard-boiled novel, rather an experiment which combines the traditional narrative with the Hollywood movies scripts of that era, revisited in a modern and unconventional tone.
